Accredited Membership
Independent Living Canada has developed an Accreditation Process for its member Centres. The Accreditation process is also applied when Centres want to move from Centre Under Development status to become an Accredited IL Centre.
The accreditation process is an opportunity for IL Centres to review and to improve their activities, goals and directions and to ensure that IL values and principles are being maintained. This helps Centres and Independent Living Canada to demonstrate accountability in the community.
