Dear Dave

On behalf of all of us at Independent Living Canada I am writing to offer congratulations in helping make the North Pole wheelchair accessible. Every time someone like you accomplishments something like this it gives hope and inspiration to millions of Canadians with disabilities. It once again proves there is truly is no dream too big to dream, no barrier too daunting to tackle.

Once again you have personally demonstrated the power of one individual to make positive change happen and I believe that this particular victory has broken down a barrier that most folks thought would last forever. You have blazed yet another trail for others to follow and you have to believe it will encourage them to face and break down the barriers in their own lives.

We are especially proud of your achievements since you have always been and will always be a member of the Independent Living Canada family. Stay warm, get rested, and keep us informed about your next adventure. Keep up the good work, it’s helping the world to accept, include, and acknowledge people with disabilities.
