ILC is delighted to announce that TD Bank Financial Group has joined ILC's National Leader's Club with a donation of $50,000 towards the Virtual Employment and Independent Living Portal. This new partnership highlights TD Bank's corporate leadership to employment equity.
The TD/ILC Virtual Employment and Independent Living Portal will address the need for the national Independent Living movement to embrace and implement virtual technology as a means of enhancing the learning and skills development of persons with disabilities.
The on-line learning tools will enable learners with disabilities to access knowledge and skills that will enhance their employability and self-employment skills and complement ILC's local employment initiatives.
TD Bank Financial Group and ILC will together ensure persons with disabilities have equal access to the technological benefits necessary for success.
